La BiB's first Open House was a success!
We opened our doors on Friday, March 20 to welcome residents and seasonal visitors into our growing space—and what a night it was!
We invited the community to tour the library, learn about our programs, and help support the next phase of La BiB’s development as we prepare for the busy summer months.
And you showed up in a big way.
✨ Thanks to your generosity, most of our immediate wishlist was funded in just one evening. ✨
Because of our incredible sponsors, we’re already creating a more comfortable, functional, and inspiring space for families:

Future Vision: Mobile Library / Visión Futura: Biblioteca Móvil
Our dream is to bring La BiB to neighborhoods with limited access to books, either in satellite locations or via a mobile library. Your donation moves us toward purchasing and equipping a mobile library vehicle, hiring staff for outreach, one day building a permanent, larger library, and bringing books and learning directly to children who need it most.
Nuestro sueño es llevar La BiB a vecindarios con acceso limitado a libros, ya sea mediante sedes satélite o una biblioteca móvil. The Journey of La BiB / El Camino de La BiB
La BiB opened in 2023 as a grassroots initiative to expand access to children’s books. In January 2025, it became the La BiB Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and opened in a new public location in October 2025. La BiB abrió en 2023 como una iniciativa comunitaria para ampliar el acceso a libros infantiles.
