La BiB (La Biblioteca Infantil Bilingüe) is a library founded in early 2023 to serve the greater Puerto Vallarta community. We offer a welcoming and inclusive space where families can access a growing collection of books in English, Spanish, and bilingual editions, thoughtfully curated for babies, toddlers, early readers and adolescents.

Our mission is to enrich children’s access to literature, nurture a lifelong love for reading, strengthen early literacy skills, and promote bilingualism in a region where language and culture are deeply interconnected. We believe that reading is a fundamental tool for empowerment, and by fostering literacy in this diverse and vibrant community, we hope to help open doors to greater opportunity, imagination, and understanding for the next generation.

La BiB envisions a future where every child in the Banderas Bay Area has access to the books, resources, and encouragement they need to become confident, curious, and capable readers. Join us in our mission to grow into a network of libraries, working together to ensure that every child can experience the joy, freedom, and lifelong benefits of reading.
